Om virksomheden
Trekosten sits at the very end of the pier at Nivå Havn. From the terrace, you have a panoramic view across the entire harbour, toward Hven and the Swedish coast on the far side of Øresund, and further to the north you can just glimpse Kronborg on the horizon. Few eateries on the Danish side of the sound can match that view.
Smørrebrød and Danish-French
The kitchen is classic Danish with a touch of French inspiration. The lunch menu is built around the smørrebrød classics:
- Sild i flere variationer (herring in several variations)
- Fiskefilet med remoulade (fish fillet with remoulade)
- Pariserbøf (Parisian beef)
- Stjerneskud (traditional Danish open-face fish sandwich)
- Caesar salad and deep-fried camembert
Brunch is served on weekends. Ingredients are organic where it makes sense. They gladly take bookings for groups, catering and takeaway.
For sailors
You barely need to leave the harbour — the pier where your boat is moored is the same one the restaurant's terrace sits on. That makes Trekosten a good choice for both a lunch stop mid-cruise and a relaxed dinner after sailing, when you don't feel like walking far.
