1. Strictly necessary cookies (no consent required)

These are required for the site to function and cannot be disabled.

• nordok_auth_token — keeps you signed in. Persistent, 30 days, secure + sameSite.
• nordok_auth_user — caches your user record for the navigation. 30 days.
• nordok_locale — remembers your chosen language. 1 year.
• XSRF-TOKEN / nordok_session — CSRF protection on forms. Session.

2. Analytics (consent required)

We use a self-hosted Matomo instance at analytics.nordok.net to understand how the site is used. Matomo cookies are only set if you accept analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.

• _pk_id, _pk_ses — Matomo visitor and session identifiers. 13 months / 30 minutes.

3. Payment cookies (consent required, only on premium signup)

Stripe sets cookies on the premium signup and checkout pages to detect fraud and remember your card. These are only loaded if you proceed to a Stripe-hosted checkout.

4. Retention

No cookie set by us has a lifetime longer than 13 months, in line with the ePrivacy Directive guidance.

5. How to opt out

• Use the cookie banner — analytics consent can be withdrawn at any time.
• Clear cookies in your browser settings (this also signs you out).
• Use a browser-level opt-out (e.g. Do Not Track, Global Privacy Control). We honour these signals where technically possible.
