Wassersportzentrum Dänholm-Nord

Wassersportzentrum Dänholm-Nord sits on the small island of Dänholm between Stralsund and Rügen, east of the cargo port and south-east of the city marina. Eight clubs share the well-sheltered basin behind the breakwater and run the centre jointly.

Around 260 boats lie at five jetties in boxes 3.50 to 4.00 m wide and 10 to 12 m long, with water depths between 1.5 and 2.5 m. Visiting crews use the green-marked free boxes; the harbour master allocates a spot on arrival.

Ashore there is shore power, drinking water, sanitary facilities with showers, a 9-tonne crane, a mast crane, a 3.5-tonne slipway, pump-out for holding tanks and chemical toilets, plus a club restaurant. Approach is via the well-marked Strelasund fairway; the Ziegelgraben bridge opening times must be observed.
