Pomost dla kajakarzy

The kayak pontoon at Tczew sits on the western bank of the Vistula, just upstream of the city's historic bridges and the Old Town riverside boulevard. It is the small-craft section of the Przystań pasażersko-żeglarska run by TCSiR — floating concrete pontoons, easy to step onto from a loaded kayak, with a steel passenger pier next door for larger vessels.

Paddlers come here to start or finish the Pomeranian stretch of the Vistula, a roughly 62-kilometre route from Gniew through wide valley panoramas and the sandy mid-river shoals that shelter rare birds. Water and power hookups are available on the dock via card-operated readers, and the promenade above leads straight into the cafés and museums of the medieval town.

It is a working dock rather than a marina — best treated as a clean, well-placed transit point on a longer trip down Poland's biggest river.
