Description
Gammel Havn is the original fishing harbour in Juelsminde and the oldest of the four basins that make up Juelsminde Havn & Marina. It is also the liveliest part — the basin lies closest to town, with the most going on around it.
The Stormolen quay on the east side is reserved for vessels over 15 metres and carries the harbour crane and wash-down area. At the head of the basin are a large playground and a crab-fishing jetty for children only, with lifejackets to borrow, and the petrol and diesel installation sits on the service quay here. Most of the harbour's eating places ring this basin, and the high street is a couple of hundred metres away. Facilities, tariff and harbour card are shared with the rest of Juelsminde Havn & Marina.
