Boizenburg Hafen

Boizenburg marina sits on Hafenplatz a few minutes' walk from the historic town centre, at the junction between the Elbe and the navigable Boize. It is run by the boating club BSV Boizenburg and is the only fixed pleasure-craft harbour on the Mecklenburg side of the Elbe between Lauenburg and Dömitz.

There are 43 berths in total, six of them reserved for transient boats. The pontoons offer shore power and water, while ashore you find showers, toilets, a washing machine and free WiFi, plus a clubhouse, slipway and bike rental for trips along the Elbe Cycle Route or into the Flusslandschaft Elbe biosphere reserve.

From the harbour it is a short walk to the old town with its market square, restaurants and shops – a practical stopover for both Elbe cruisers and motorhome travellers.
