Ankenes Marina

Ankenes marina lies at the entrance to Narvik harbour, around seven to eight kilometres from Narvik town centre and right beside the E6 highway. The harbour is run by Ankenes Båtforening and serves as the home port for the club's members, while also offering a guest pontoon for visiting boats travelling along Ofotfjorden.

From the pontoon the view stretches across the fjord to the mountains around Narvik, and it is a short trip into town for shops, cafés and the railway station. The area has a long history as both an industrial and fishing port, with steady but unhurried summer traffic.

Visiting crews will find shore power, fresh water and diesel on the pontoon. The approach calls for some attention to shallow patches — consult an up-to-date chart before mooring.
