Åsgårdstrand Guest Harbour

Åsgårdstrand Guest Harbour lies on the western side of the Oslofjord in Horten municipality, roughly halfway between Drøbak and Tønsberg. The harbour has room for about 30 visiting boats right in the historic summer town Edvard Munch immortalised – Munch's House is a few minutes away and open daily in summer.

The service building offers toilets, showers, shore power and free wireless internet, and there is a fuel pump on-site for petrol and diesel. A small slipway below Åsgårdstrand Hotel makes it easy to launch tenders. Daytime berthing (08:00–20:00) is free; overnight rates are NOK 150 for boats up to 30 feet, NOK 180 up to 40 feet, NOK 255 up to 50 feet and NOK 390 up to 75 feet per night. Electricity is NOK 40 per 24 hours. The nearest shop is 120 metres away.

Just south of the guest harbour you'll find Åsgårdstrand Badepark – one of Horten's finest sandy beaches and perfect after a long day's sailing. Restaurants, galleries and cafés line the waterfront, and the entire town is famous for the particular light that has drawn painters here for more than 150 years. The harbour is open year-round.
