Ålabodarna Harbour

At the foot of the steep, wooded Hilleshög coast, five nautical miles north of Landskrona, lies Ålabodarna — one of the most characterful fishing villages on the Sound. The houses are stacked tight against the cliffside, the harbour basin is small but well kept, and the island of Ven sits as a silhouette out in the strait, drawing visitors from across Skåne for the sunsets.

The harbour offers fifteen to twenty guest berths, marked with the usual red/green system on the pontoons. The entire basin is dredged to two and a half metres, so even bigger keelboats can come in. The site has fresh water and twenty power outlets included in the fee, wireless internet across the harbour, showers, toilets, a laundry and a pay sauna. Petrol, diesel and gas are available at the pump, and an environmental station handles holding-tank pumpout.

Above the pontoons, Ålabodarnas Hamnkrog serves Skåne home cooking right at the water's edge. Three bathing piers and a beach two hundred metres away make this an ideal stop for a summer night, and the clubhouse — with room for sixty — hosts everything from parties to regatta dinners.
