Description
Sønderby Lystbådehavn is a small harbour on the Hornsherred side of Roskilde Fjord, maintained by the local property-owners' association. The harbour holds around 35 berths distributed before each season — association members have priority, and spare berths are offered to local interested parties as guest moorings.
It is a small, local character rather than a regular guest marina: small-boat piers, a limited number of shore spots for dinghies, canoes and kayaks, and an atmosphere that belongs in the summer landscape. Toilets (only available in summer), shore power and water are at the harbour.
A sandy beach, a bathing jetty and a bathing pontoon (summer only) frame the harbour, and access to the Fjordstien path runs directly from the moles. Parking 200 m from the beach at Harebakkevej.
