Description
Skovshoved Havn is Gentofte Municipality's largest marina. It re-opened in 2015 after a major expansion from 325 to 645 berths, alongside three new public activity zones designed with Lokale og Anlægsfonden. Today it is both a sailing base and a popular city space for the whole district.
The facility offers petrol, diesel, GTL, shore power, water, toilets, showers, a slipway and a pump-out station. Every berth is taken with a long waiting list — this is as much a home harbour as a guest marina.
The restaurant quay is generous: Sejlklubbernes Spisehus, Il Gabbiano, Restaurant Skovshoved, Hooked at Halgodt and Costa Smeralda. Arne Jacobsen's Bellevue Beach lies immediately south of the harbour, Bakken and Dyrehaven are 10 minutes by bike, and bus 23 runs into town.
