Rungsted Havn

Rungsted Havn is run as a self-governing institution and, with around 850 berths, ranks as the country's third-largest marina. It is a polished, upscale coastal harbour with a strong identity — popular both with permanent berth-holders and as a stop between Copenhagen and Helsingør.

Mooring is alongside or between piles, and the service level is high: shore power, water, showers, toilets, laundry, diesel and petrol are all on site. A boat yard, the ShipShape chandlery and a beach with a beach bar round out the offer, and the harbour office rents bicycles.

The restaurant quay is an attraction in itself — nine eateries from quick takeaway to fine dining sit right by the boats. The Karen Blixen Museum at Rungstedlund is a short walk from the moles, and the Kystbanen train reaches Copenhagen in around 25 minutes.
