Description
Østby Bådelaug, often called Østby Havn locally, is a small fjord boat club at Hammervej 28 in Skibby. The association was founded in 1978 and runs a modest but friendly harbour with 25 berth boxes for open dinghies — maximum length 20 feet and draft 70 cm. Guest boats moor for free at the wooden eastern pier (about 85 cm depth).
Mooring uses traditional rope (minimum 10 mm). A clubhouse with workshop and member boxes is on site, and Wednesday fishing evenings are held in winter. A toilet (wheelchair-accessible), BBQ and slipway are available.
It is a community-oriented harbour rather than a typical guest marina — keelboats and large cruising boats should not expect a berth. The site sits in Skjoldungerne National Park and is perfect for those seeking a quiet dinghy harbour with strong community.
