Hammer Havn

Hammer Havn sits on the northwest coast of Bornholm beneath the dramatic granite of Hammeren and within sight of the Hammershus ruins. The harbour is compact and practical, with a distinctly coastal, rocky character.

For visiting sailors it works well as a straightforward stop on a passage around Bornholm. Ashore, paths lead quickly to viewpoints and cliff walks on Hammerknuden, offering wide sea vistas and a strong sense of the island’s nature.

The wider area is easy to explore on foot or by bike, with routes towards Hammershus as well as to Sandvig and Allinge. That makes the harbour a useful base for short excursions and a convenient waypoint when circling the island.
