Description
Yachtklubben Furesøen sits in the south-eastern corner of Denmark's deepest lake and is a member-run sailing club affiliated with Dansk Sejlunion. The harbour is newly renovated and has around 110 sailboat berths plus around 50 dinghy and shoreside spots.
The facility is pure freshwater — sailing school, racing, youth sailing, windsurfing, SUP and touring all on the lake, not the coast. Shore power, water, toilets, showers, sauna (open in the cold season for winter bathing and training), BBQ, mast crane and a slipway are all on site.
Access is by code-gated entry, and parking is at Restaurant Jægerhuset — no parking inside the harbour. A workshop and a hall with a sail-drying room are part of daily club life. Address: Dronninggårds Allé 124B, Holte.
