Description

Roskilde Lystbådehavn lies at the head of the fjord, where the Vikings once sank ship blockades to defend the royal town. The marina is operated by Roskilde Havneselskab and offers 371 berths spread across floating pontoons and fixed piers. A new harbour house was completed in 2022.

Mooring is at floating pontoons or fixed jetties, with guest spots marked by a green free sign. Shore power, water, showers, toilets, Wi-Fi, diesel and a crane are at the service quay (two-hour limit at the crane itself). A mast crane and a slipway (2,500 kg max) round out the setup. Harbour fees are paid via the BEAS app or the ticket machine.

The Viking Ship Museum is a short walk away and the Cathedral is in plain sight from the moles. The town centre with cafés, shops and a playground is a brief stroll, and restaurants sit right on the quay.
