Description
Nyhavn is not a regular marina but a guest mooring in the heart of Copenhagen's most iconic canal. The 17th-century waterway, dug under Christian V, connects the inner harbour to Kongens Nytorv. Today it is a city harbour in the most distinctly Danish way: Hans Christian Andersen's old address on one side, the Royal Theatre on the other.
Mooring is alongside the canal quays, and the spot is reserved for visitors — there are no permanent berths. Shore power, water, toilet and shower are at Ofelia Plads nearby, and harbour fees are paid through the ticket machine. The cafés are literally on your bow line.
