Gedser Lystbådehavn
A no‑frills harbour on Falster’s south coast. Quiet, sheltered behind breakwaters and close to Gedser town and the ferry port, it works well as a waypoint for passages across the southwest Baltic.

Description
Gedser Lystbådehavn sits on the southern edge of Falster, at the very tip of Denmark. The harbour lies by the Baltic, tucked behind breakwaters beside the working ferry port. The setting is coastal and open, yet the mood in the yacht basin is calm and practical.
Sailors use Gedser as a straightforward stop when moving between Danish waters and the German coast. Early starts and late arrivals are easy, and the horizon feels wide: onward routes fan out toward Mecklenburg, the Bay of Lübeck and along the Lolland–Falster shoreline.
On shore, Gedser town is close by for everyday needs, and the surrounding landscape invites a walk or a bike ride. Wide beaches and the low, windswept terrain around Gedser Odde provide sea views and birdlife. As a simple base at Denmark’s southern doorstep, it is a useful waypoint.
