Restaurant Hellerup Sejlklub sits right on the pier of Hellerup Havn. The terrace stretches out over the quayside, and the water is so close to the table that it becomes part of the meal. The sailing club shares the building with the restaurant, but you don't need to be a member — people walk straight in from the harbour promenade and sit down.
Kitchen
Danish-French cuisine based on seasonal ingredients. The place handles both a quick lunch in the sun and a longer four-course dinner with wine. On weekends it's good practice to book a table.
Throughout the year the restaurant hosts a number of recurring theme evenings:
- Steak & béarnaise in winter
- Shellfish evening in spring and autumn
- Seafood festival in summer
- Christmas platter in December
For sailors
Hellerup Havn is one of the small, well-kept marinas on the northern Øresund coast. Mooring leads you straight to the quay in front of the restaurant, and in summer the harbour offers kayak and SUP rental — so if there are several of you, half the party can stay out on the water while the other half orders a starter.

- Open: every day 11-22 (kitchen 11-21:30)
- Reservations: recommended on weekends and for larger groups
- Access: from the harbour promenade — or straight from the boat
The restaurant opened in the summer of 2017 and is run by the Couloir group.
